Delaware offers nature watching, shopping, outdoor adventures, camping, romantic weekends and plenty of scenic excursions that all add up to a fun vacation by RV.
If you time your trip just right during the fall season, take a scenic drive through Brandywine Valley. This area is known for gorgeous fall foliage. The state parks also attract bird watchers from all around the country. Visit Milford for a stop at the Nature Center or take the kids to the Nature Preserve in Milton.
Dover, which is the capitol city, has luxury accommodations and several shopping areas all of which are tax-free. You might enjoy dinning out at any of several great restaurants and even catching a show or a concert. You can spending the day picnicking, swimming, surfing or shopping and take your choice of casual or fine dinning for lunch or dinner.
There are plenty of nearby accommodations including hotels, cottages and camping facilities. The park offers two miles of nature trails, children’s activities and a swimming pool.
